Volvo Art Session 2017

Studio Leigh Sachwitz once again had the pleasure to create a one of a kind show direction for the Volvo Art Session 2017 in Zurich.

Inspired by the very much up-to-date topic of exploring the borders between the human and digital universe Leigh Sachwitz created an intriguing and exciting show with a technical set up which uses a holographic framing on the front of a 8 x 6 meter stage. The multimedia stage served as the perfect surrounding for an interactive dance and music performance. The story connects the analog to the digital world, highlighting the different contact points with its diverse behavior patterns towards one other. The idea was to create a show which is emotionally merges the two worlds in this digital age, one
can´t survive without the other.

Working with sound reactive content as well as motion tracking and the projection of digital silhouettes Studio Leigh Sachwitz created a true conjunction of human and digital.
