Perspective Playground 2015

For “Perspective Playground”, an exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, I curated the art installations as well as contributed my own installation „INSIDEOUT“ and was a jury member for the photography competition which was running alongside the exhibition

The chosen installations from internationally renowned artists transport you into a fascinating and playful world of art and science that spans several floors of the renowned Paris museum.

Participating artists were MASER (Hallucinogen), Martin Butler (Into the Eye), Susi Sie (Between Art and Science), A2arquitectos (Magic Kaleidoscope), INFARM (Ebb and Flow), Erik Olofsen (White Noise), Klaus Kemp (Diatoms) and Leigh Sachwitz & Andi Toma (INSIDEOUT).

Also integrated into the perspective experience were four art pieces from the current Palais de Tokyo exhibitions: Ugo Rondinone (The Archive Of John Giorno), Lee Bul (Aubade III), Henrique Oliveira (Baitogogo) and Ragnar Kjartansson (Snow).

Additionally, visitors were invited to als explore the beauty of endoscopy and microscopy. Colourful, minimalistic, experimental or geometrical – every art piece at the Perspective Playground expresses the personal vision of the artist and their interpretation of perspective and science, some of them integrate technologies such as microscopes and endoscopes into their work.
